1 on 1 Coaching & Consulting for your Optometry Business
What prompted Dr. Woo to start coaching?
When I completed my cornea and contact lens residency, I had gained an incredible amount of knowledge on how to effectively diagnose, treat, and manage complicated patients. However, when I got into the “real world” and started working in a general optometry clinic, I didn’t know how to integrate my skills into an existing practice. How do I schedule patients? How much do I charge for a scleral lens fitting? How can I get staff trained? What paperwork is necessary? How do I bill for specialty lenses? On top of that, I was simultaneously trying to improve the efficiency and profitability of the existing practice. It has taken me years to learn what works and what doesn’t, and I want to teach you the tools so you can incorporate these systems into your own practice!

How do I know what to charge?
A very common question I get from doctors is, "How much should I be charging?" Every clinic and every doctor's situation is different. Chair costs, fixed costs, experience, and time should all be considered when developing a fee schedule that is appropriate for your unique practice. If you have no idea where to start, try using this free calculator to help determine an estimate that is right for you.
