Awesome webinar with Dr. Melanie Frogozo and Dr. Randy Charrier on the subject of audits! Audits can be very scary and cause a major amount of anxiety for any practice. Join 2 optometrists who’ve personally gone through audits to gain some clarity on what to expect and how to prepare.

Some of the highlights include:

  • - Read your provider agreement

  • - Check the global period for MNCL

  • - Make sure you are printing the EHR report to view it on paper

  • - A large amount of MNCL billing will flag you for audit, so be prepared

  • - Be accommodating to the auditor (I didn't know why until this interview!)

  • - Chart as if you are GOING to be audited
